Going Out Of Your Mind

The phrase “I’m going out of my mind” typically has negative connotations. In truth, going out of your mind, in a very real sense, is a sign of evolving consciousness. To go out of your mind simply means to move past identification with the thoughts and associated emotions generated from the level of mind. Mind is a stage of evolution that utilizes the physical interface called a brain. Prior to mind, simpler single celled organisms had less sophisticated reactive patterns that did not involve thought coupled with the ability to consciously differentiate and choose based on physical or imagined options. As a more evolved being, you can use the mind to make choices and decide what fits your individual path without becoming identified as the mind. The mind is a tool in your box. You are not the mind.

Now you are moving beyond mind. The insanity of individual and collective human behavior is a sign that the patterns and overall structure of mind (thoughts and emotions) cannot contain the energy that is now being accessed by humans. As you access another level of awareness, mind will still be there in the tool box, ready for use as required, however, the madness will subside as you learn to ‘be’ and utilize ‘doing’ only as a method and not as a measure of self.

You are not your thoughts or emotions. You are the awareness out of which thoughts and emotions spring forth. Now, you are remembering .
